Adventures of Harriett {Raleigh, NC Children and Family Photographer)

Harriett just turned four years old. She knows her birthday, she like mini-pumpkins (me too!) and this girl loves.to.run (me, not so much).

Harriett and I met for the first time at Yates Mill Pond park. Shy at first, we dodged other photographers and ran through fields of grass to the side of the park where she could actually play. And then we brought out the balloons! Yes, the other kids were jealous they didn’t have balloons, but Harriett’s mom had a vision and we worked together on our own Pinterest board for this session. We knew what we were going for but we were also acutely aware that kids are kids and we will catch Harriett being…. Harriett!

She grabbed my hand and we ran over the bridge of the lake. We looked for big leaves, we looked over the bridge for turtles, we saw a waterfall, we jumped, twirled and balanced. We were silly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you Rebecca and Steven for allowing me to photograph your amazing little girl. What a fantastic job you have done raising this little person! For more pictures, scroll through the gallery below.
